Your first meeting

Record your first meeting with Kimiko: check your audio, follow the live transcript, then review the summary and suggested tasks.

Finish installation and model downloads. Check that your microphone is connected and that the people taking part know you are recording.

For a first test, use a short conversation. It is easier to check your audio and model setup before a longer meeting.

  1. Open your meeting app and join the call.
  2. If Kimiko detects it, use the recording prompt to start. Detection offers to record; it does not add a bot to the call.
  3. If no prompt appears, open Kimiko and start a recording yourself.
  4. Check that spoken words appear in the transcript. If you see only one side of the conversation, check microphone and system audio access.

Kimiko captures your microphone and computer audio. Keep it running for the conversation you want to capture.

Write your own notes while the transcript fills in the conversation. If Live summaries is enabled in Settings → Transcription, Kimiko also produces periodic recaps.

Speaker labels help you follow who said what. Your microphone is labeled You. The current speaker model can distinguish up to eight remote voices. You can add names to speaker labels.

Stop the recording when the meeting ends and allow processing to finish. Review the summary alongside the original transcript, especially names, numbers, decisions, and commitments.

Suggested tasks are yours to review. Choose Keep for a useful next step or Dismiss for something you do not want to track.
