Ask your notes
Ask Kimiko about one meeting, a project, or your whole library, then follow the source links to check decisions and context.
Choose your scope
Section titled “Choose your scope”Kimiko can answer questions using a single meeting, a project, or your library. Choose the context in chat before asking:
| Scope | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Meeting | A decision, detail, or next step from one conversation |
| Project | Changes and context across related meetings and notes |
| Library | Finding relevant information more broadly |
Start with the smallest scope that contains the information you need.
Ask a specific question
Section titled “Ask a specific question”Useful questions include:
- “What did we agree to send before Friday?”
- “How did the launch plan change between the last two meetings?”
- “What questions should I bring to our next customer call?”
Include the project, topic, or approximate date when it helps distinguish similar conversations.
Follow the sources
Section titled “Follow the sources”Use the source links in an answer to return to the relevant meeting or excerpt. Check the original context when a decision matters or when the answer seems incomplete.
Chat works with the material available in your selected scope. It is not a guarantee that every relevant note was found, and it does not imply a search of the web.
If relevant notes are missing
Section titled “If relevant notes are missing”Confirm that the meeting has finished processing and belongs to the project you selected. Try a narrower question or a distinctive word from the conversation.
The Chat search index section in Settings → AI shows indexing status. The built-in setup uses a local embedding model to help find relevant passages. See local AI.
